The Institute of Environmental Geosciences (IGE) is one of the main laboratories of the Grenoble Observatory of Universe Sciences (OSUG). The IGE conducts research on climate, human impact on our planet, and environmental risks, particularly in regions where societal and environmental challenges are most acute: the polar regions, the intertropical zone, and mountainous regions.
