Computerized systems control many objects used in professional settings and daily life, including those that perform critical functions in transportation (automotive, avionics, rail, and space), telecommunications, robotics, banking, and healthcare—sectors where safety and security expectations are particularly high.
Verimag’s work aims to develop theoretical and technical tools that meet these expectations with mathematical rigor, across a broad spectrum of problems involving circuits, processors, analog or hybrid systems, compilers, security protocols, distributed algorithms, and systems incorporating AI—particularly in the context of critical systems.
