The Laboratory of Metal Chemistry and Biology conducts research at the intersection of chemistry and biology. This research focuses on studying the structure, activity, and regulation of complex biological systems that transport and utilize metal ions, as well as on applying this knowledge to develop bio-inspired systems with similar structures and/or functions.
