The hTAG Support and Research Unit (UAR) provides comprehensive management—including staffing and regulatory compliance—for two animal facilities: the High-Tech Animal Platform (PHTA) and the animal facility of the Hypoxia and Physiopathology Laboratory (HP2).
It is also responsible for regulatory oversight of: the animal facility of a team at the IAB (Institute for the Advancement of Biosciences); the animal experimentation component of the TIMC (Translational Research and Innovation in Medicine and Complexity) In Vivo Microscopy Platform; and the practical labs used for courses taught at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy.
The hTAG UAR coordinates a network of animal facilities: the RAGA (Grenoble-Alpes Animal Facility Network).
