LECA’s research aims to understand the mechanisms underlying biodiversity, to understand its dynamics and decipher its role in the functioning of socio-ecosystems, and to predict its response to anthropogenic pressures (climate change, land-use change, pollution, biological invasions, etc.), with a particular focus on alpine environments.
