CESICE is a multidisciplinary center whose expertise in the field of international security and defense studies has been recognized since its founding in 1977.
Since then, CESICE’s academic focus has centered on the study of international, European, and human rights issues from a legal perspective, drawing on multidisciplinary contributions (economics, sociology, political science). Committed to actively addressing highly topical issues, CESICE pays particular attention to cross-cutting legal themes in international security and artificial intelligence, as well as to the history of human rights.
