The University has a vital role to play in public discourse. In the face of the resurgence of obscurantism and the lack of scientific rigor in establishing facts, it is our responsibility to take action. Our goal is to educate enlightened citizens and socially responsible leaders, while promoting critical thinking and academic knowledge throughout society. To achieve this, we implement outreach and science communication initiatives that enable students, staff, and the general public to access our expertise and better understand the issues at the intersection of science and society.
