The Institute of Earth Sciences (ISTerre) is one of the main laboratories of the Grenoble Observatory of Universe Sciences (OSUG). ISTerre focuses on the physical and chemical study of planet Earth. By combining observations of natural objects, experiments, and modeling of complex phenomena, the institute studies the processes related to the major systems of the Earth’s interior.
