The IAB (Institute for the Advancement of Biosciences) is an internationally renowned research center in the field of basic and translational biomedical research.
The common goal of IAB scientists is to understand how the environment shapes biological systems—that is, the fundamental mechanisms by which the epigenome and cellular and tissue plasticity are reprogrammed under the influence of their chemical, metabolic, physical, cellular, microbiotic, and immunological environments.
